With a strong background in accounting and academic research, Quyen uses her knowledge and skills to contribute to assist the firm's clients in the ever-changing world of cross border taxation. Prior to joining ErbCPA, Quyen worked for a local public accounting firm in Rockwall, TX as a Staff Accountant and for Texas A&M University - Commerce as a graduate research assistant. She regularly deals with complex foreign trust structures and the required U.S. reporting obligations facing her clients. This includes Form 5471, Form 8621 PFIC reporting and the Section 965 Transition Tax. Quyen has used these skills in preparing many Streamlined Filing Compliance Procedures (both Foreign and Domestic) submissions. Quyen has recently passed the CPA exam and earned Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Accounting from Texas A&M University - Commerce.
